We’re looking for a part-time Head of Estates to join us on our continuous journey of true nourishment.

Purpose |

You will be a senior member of the property team, able to confidently work with other senior leaders and present succinctly at all levels.

Key accountabilities |

  • Proactive and commercially astute estate management of the leasehold property estate, leveraging the brand's value and Wagamama Limited's financial strength. This includes leadership of lease re-gears/exits and management of critical lease events.
  • Management of the remainder of the group property estate, including Barburrito & a small portfolio of closed sites (10 years).
  • Likely membership of RICS – Chartered Surveyor.
  • Proven track record of leading, developing, and inspiring skilled teams to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Ability to compile, review, control, and implement budgets.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Methodical with great attention to detail.
  • Sound commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to confidently present to all audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a positive, ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Ideally based in the southeast, within reasonable commuting distance from our head office in London Bridge.
  • Full UK driving license is essential.
  • This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, part-time 3-4 days a week.

What's in it for you |

  • A competitive annual salary.
  • Discretionary 30% bonus opportunity per year.
  • Family-friendly policy: expectant or adopting persons receive 26 weeks full pay + 13 weeks half pay.
  • Pension contribution.
  • 25 days holiday plus all bank holidays.
  • Various discounts across retail, hospitality, and leisure.
