About Our Client

Darwen Vale High School (DVHS) is an 11-18 academy, with a newly evolving sixth form in collaboration with two other Aldridge Education schools in the town: DACA and DAES. The school’s students are drawn from Darwen, Blackburn, and surrounding areas, with approximately 30% qualifying for free school meals.

DVHS opened in September 2012 in redesigned and refurbished buildings, growing from 150 to 240 students per year group. The school has seen rapid improvement, with significant gains in student achievement, leading to oversubscription in recent years.
