Qualifications

• Significant experience leading Further Education curriculum areas.
• Proven track record in teaching and learning excellence.
• Experience managing staff, budgets, and resources within FE.
• Strong understanding of Ofsted expectations and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall performance and development of Engineering, Science & Automotive.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership across provision.
• Drive industry-focused curriculum meeting student and employer needs.
• Lead quality improvement activities and Ofsted readiness.
• Manage staff recruitment, performance management and development.
• Oversee curriculum planning, timetabling, placements and resources.
• Manage departmental budgets, facilities and equipment and stakeholder relations.
• Analyse performance data to identify improvement opportunities and drive results.
• Maintain involvement in teaching and student supervision.
