Job summary

Hawk-Eye Innovations (HEI) is seeking a Director of Engineering - Performance & Insights to lead a ~50-strong team across web, mobile, data and cloud engineering. The role focuses on building AI-ready foundations and scalable platforms to serve top-tier sports clients.

You will establish lean, disciplined operational practices, drive reliability and data governance, and collaborate with product leaders to accelerate delivery while maintaining squad autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a ~50 people strong Product & Engineering organisation across web, mobile, data and cloud engineering.
• Foster a culture of accountability, clarity, calm execution, and continuous improvement.
• Set practical engineering standards, reliability metrics and data governance across Hawk-Eye's platform.
• Enable AI-ready foundations by building scalable platform, data and governance.
• Partner with product leaders to accelerate delivery while preserving team autonomy.
