Job summary

Cure Talent Ltd is partnering with an established engineering manufacturer to appoint an Engineering Manager for an onsite role in Staplehurst, Kent. The role leads Mechanical, Electronics, Software and Physics engineering teams, shaping technical direction while maintaining hands-on leadership.

You will drive resource planning, recruitment, performance management and governance, ensuring projects meet quality, cost and schedule targets across product development and production.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams at senior level.
• Strong ability to recruit, coach and develop engineers and technicians.
• Proven track record in delivering complex engineering projects from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Mechanical, Electronics, Software Engineering and Physics teams.
• Oversee concept, design, qualification, manufacture and installation work.
• Coordinate design reviews, decisions and risk mitigation across disciplines.
• Improve processes, governance and documentation to raise reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality and commercial teams on technical decisions and cost reduction.
