Job summary

KHR - Recruitment Specialists is seeking an Engineering Manager in Marden, Kent to lead a multidisciplinary engineering function. The role focuses on developing the team, overseeing NPI/NPD from concept through to design and manufacturing, while driving process improvements.

A hands-on, commercially minded leader is essential. The position offers a salary of £65,000–£75,000 DOE plus a bonus, with core hours 08:30–17:00, and occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams across multiple domains.
• Hands-on, commercially minded engineering leader.
• Experience overseeing NPI/NPD from concept to manufacturing.
• Degree in Engineering, Physics or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across engineering areas.
• Manage recruitment, appraisals, performance, coaching and development of engineers.
• Oversee NPI/NPD from concept/design through to manufacturing.
• Manage projects ensuring technical, quality, cost and delivery targets are met.
• Improve engineering processes, governance and documentation.
