Job summary

Financial Times seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead one of its Commercial Technology teams, driving delivery, performance and the ongoing evolution of the FT’s Marketing & Commercial Data capabilities.

You will balance new capability delivery with the health of existing platforms, while developing people, maintaining strong technical judgement and engaging with Product and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams delivering business-critical products.
• Strong people leadership and technical judgement.
• Ability to translate business priorities into engineering plans and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering delivery across Marketing and Commercial Data capabilities.
• Lead planning, capacity, and prioritisation for the team.
• Collaborate with Product, Programme and business stakeholders to ensure outcomes.
• Mentor engineers and grow team capability.
• Report to Principal Engineer and drive transformation of the Commercial Technology landscape.
