ManpowerGroup Talent Solutions is seeking a Head of Engineering for a Birmingham FMCG/food manufacturing site. You will lead a 34-strong engineering team, drive the engineering strategy, and own PPM and CAPEX plans to align factory capabilities with new product development.

You will collaborate with operations and NPD, ensuring smooth machinery operation across conveyors and fabrication facilities while shaping a proactive, performance-driven engineering agenda.

Qualifications

• Senior Leadership Team or Head of Engineering Experience within a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong background leading engineering strategy and CAPEX.
• Strong technical background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams.
• Comfortable with fabrication and buildings maintenance.
• Ideally, experience within a similar-sized business or operation within FMCG or Food Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineering strategy, focusing on proactive rather than reactive measures.
• Oversee effective Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.

This company are a leading name in the food manufacturing industry. We are looking for a dynamic Head of Engineering to lead their engineering team and drive strategic initiatives at their site in Birmingham.

The Role:

As the Head of Engineering, you will be at the forefront of their engineering operations, ensuring the smooth running of the site.
