VINCI Airports operates Edinburgh Airport and leads a multi-year expansion programme. The Head of Engineering will oversee campus infrastructure, maintenance and asset management, including high-voltage networks and vehicle fleet, to ensure safe, compliant 24/7 operations during the capital programme.

Reporting to the CTO, the postholder leads ~50 staff and manages a supply chain of partners, shaping strategy for a £500m investment plan over five years.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of senior leadership experience in a complex facilities, engineering, maintenance or asset management environment.
• Experience sponsoring and assuring complex capital asset replacement projects.
• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and regulatory obligations in a safety-critical 24/7 environment.

Responsabilités

• Develop a Maintenance and Asset Management Strategy aligned with growth plans and service levels.
• Provide strategic oversight of the airport CMMS and asset data for maintenance management.
• Ensure assets are safe, compliant, reliable and cost-effective over whole life.
• Oversee civil assets including runway, taxiways, aprons, roads, drainage and airfield infra.
• Ensure runway maintenance and availability to support operations.
