Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd in South London is seeking a Head of Engineering to oversee its Housing & Asset Management portfolio, delivering strategic safety and compliance across M&E, gas, electrical, lifts, fire safety and water management.

This senior role leads major contracts, procurement and programmes, manages budgets and a professional team, and provides strategic advice to senior stakeholders and leadership teams. This is an ongoing interim position with a competitive daily rate.

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level experience within social housing, a housing association or local authority housing environment.
• Strong background in technical services, engineering, asset management or property compliance, with experience managing major contracts, programmes and professional teams.

Rate: Up to £500 per day Umbrella

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Head of Engineering to join a leading local authority within its Housing & Asset Management function.

This is a senior leadership position overseeing a broad technical and engineering portfolio, with responsibility across M&E, gas, electrical, lifts, fire safety, water management, compliance, procurement and contract management.
