Head of End to End Transformation Capability Improvement

Location: London or Bristol

Salary: London circa: £150,000 / Bristol circa: £125,000

We’re looking for a visionary leader to help build a best‑in‑class Group Transformation Office. This is a high‑impact role where you’ll design frameworks and capabilities that enable projects and programmes across Aviva to deliver with greater transparency, faster pace, stronger predictability, and enhanced control.

A bit about the job

We’re building transformation capability that powers Aviva’s future. You’ll lead the design and delivery of our enterprise‑wide transformation strategy, setting standards that make change faster and more effective. Working with senior leaders across the Group, you’ll embed agility, professionalisation, and data‑led insights into everything we do. Your role will ensure ideas move to value quickly and cost‑effectively, creating a culture where transformation is a recognised profession. Ultimately, you’ll help Aviva stay ahead of industry shifts and deliver real impact for our customers.

Skills and experience we’re looking for
  • Deep experience in enterprise transformation leadership and capability design.
  • Strong influencing skills with senior stakeholders, including ExCo and Board‑level.
  • Expertise in transformation operating models, governance, and performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of modern transformation tools and data visualisation (e.g., Planview, Power BI, JIRA).
  • Ability to inspire collaboration and embed cultural change across complex organisations.

  • London: circa £150,000/ Bristol: circa £125,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Bonus opportunity – 25% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
