Aufgaben

• Lead and manage a team responsible for bringing long-term empty homes back into use using housing intervention and enforcement powers.
• Oversee the acquisition of residential properties to support empty homes initiatives and wider strategic housing programmes.
• Manage housing clearance projects, compulsory purchase processes and the disposal of Council owned land and property assets.
• Lead enforcement activity to address neglected land and premises, ensuring compliance and tackling risks to public health.
• Ensure services are delivered effectively, legally and in line with Council priorities, improving housing outcomes and community wellbeing.
• Be a skilled negotiator who is able to foster good working partnerships and generate investment.
• Able to generate creative and innovative solutions to resolve challenges on the empty homes agenda.
• Motivated, self-starter, able to lead and inspire teams and deliver change.
