As the head of the team, you will have line management responsibility working closely with the senior stakeholder team supporting with the firm's strategy on a cross-border basis.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the lead lawyer providing expert legal advice on employment law matters.
  • Key focus on non-contentious and contentious employment law related matters across EMEA, including recruitment, performance management, terminations, restrictive covenants, immigration etc.
  • Supporting with contractual matters.
  • Work closely with their People Operations teams to develop and improve employment processes and procedures.
  • Opportunities to serve as a legal advisor on a wide variety of business initiatives and transactions across the region both inside and outside the employment law area, with a strong focus on London/EMEA.
  • Working in multidisciplinary teams across various departments.
  • Managing and liaising with external counsel when required.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will be a 10+ PQE employment lawyer, preferably with experience in a law firm, or in-house.
  • Prior experience advising on non-contentious and contentious matters would be advantageous for the role.
  • Financial services experience is not a prerequisite.
  • Collaborative, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.

*Candidates outside of this PQE range with the prerequisite experience would be considered for this role.
