Job summary

A leading UK employer is seeking a Head of Employee Wellbeing to enhance psychological safety and resilience within the organization. You will lead assessments, drive wellbeing initiatives, and consult with various stakeholders to improve employee experience. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in organizational psychology and a commitment to inclusive practices. This permanent full-time role offers a salary range of £78,120 to £90,013 per year.

About this job

As Head of Employee Wellbeing, you will: Provide expert psychological leadership, evaluation and intervention across the organisation, including in complex and high-risk situations.

Deliver bespoke psychological assessments and interventions for staff and teams, and oversee pathways for urgent and routine support.

Lead organisational health reviews, using evidence-based approaches to improve psychological safety, resilience, and staff engagement.

Offer consultation, supervision and expert advice to counsellors, psychologists, and professional colleagues.

Partner with OD, L&D, Occupational Health, trade unions and staff networks to ensure services are inclusive, preventative, and accessible.

Lead and contribute to large-scale organisational change projects, using psychological insights to support culture change and employee experience.

Drive service evaluation, research and audit, ensuring the wellbeing service is evidence-based, modernised and aligned with national standards.

Develop policy, training and education programmes to promote wellbeing, stress awareness, and positive organisational culture.

Represent the service at local and national levels, influencing strategy and best practice in employee wellbeing.
