Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is partnering with a Nottingham-based domestic abuse services provider to appoint a Head of Service. The role focuses on leadership and strategic oversight of multiple services, driving survivor-centred approaches and safeguarding standards.

The post offers hybrid working options (up to two days per week from home) and a six-month fixed-term contract with potential transition to permanent.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in domestic abuse services or similar safeguarding contexts.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and trauma-informed practice.
• Ability to guide, motivate and support managers and frontline staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across specialist domestic abuse services.
• Oversee a team of approximately 14 managers.
• Ensure survivor-centred, high-quality safeguarding for women and children.
• Collaborate with commissioners and external partners to develop services.
• Oversee safeguarding arrangements for adults and children.
• Support managers with complex cases and service delivery.
