Job summary

VIQU is partnering with a leading financial services organisation to appoint a Head of DevOps and Platform Automation. You will own the DevOps strategy, drive CI/CD maturity, and lead a distributed team across the UK and offshore locations in a complex, regulated environment.

The role focuses on improving platform resilience, governance, and FinOps, while delivering automation and cloud-native initiatives across hybrid Azure estates. London-based, with a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps or platform leadership roles.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale teams in global or regulated environments.
• Strong CI/CD and IaC expertise with cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own DevOps and automation strategy and roadmap.
• Lead distributed UK and offshore teams fostering engineering excellence.
• Oversee platform lifecycle, ensuring availability, security and compliance.
• Drive CI/CD standardisation and automation frameworks.
• Manage incident response, P1s and stakeholder communications.
• Oversee tooling delivery in major transformation programmes.
• Align tooling with strategic IT objectives and FinOps needs.
