Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Head of Design (Structural) in Leicester to lead and develop a team of Structural Engineers within a fast-growing consultancy. Reporting to the directors, you will manage high-end residential and commercial projects, ensure KPI targets are met, and drive progression opportunities up to director level as the business expands nationwide.

You will have complete autonomy to shape the team and its approach, while contributing to a supportive, family-like culture

Qualifications

• Experience as Design Manager or similar role
• Background in structural engineering
• Experience managing a team of engineers
• Experience with KPI management

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for running, managing and developing your team of Civil Engineers. Reporting directly to the directors, you will manage key high-end accounts within the residential and commercial industry, whilst ensuring all KPI's are met across the board.
