Job summary

GoodPeople is seeking a Head of Delivery to lead its portfolio of employment, skills and social value programmes across the UK. You will own delivery standards, client relationships and the recruitment team, shaping how our model scales from London to regional delivery partners.

This hybrid, full-time role reports to the COO and CEO, with an initial 12-month fixed term and a path to a permanent executive position.

Qualifications

• Track record leading employment, skills or social value programmes with measurable outcomes.
• Credibility with contractors and public sector purchasers; ability to mobilise senior stakeholders.
• Experience turning relationships into contracted work; strong budget and reporting discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan, mobilise and run programmes day to day including workplans, governance, budgets, risks and reporting.
• Build scalable delivery models to handle new contracts without reinvention.
• Engage with employers, NHS trusts, local authorities and suppliers to create jobs and apprenticeships.
• Own client and funder relationships; report progress and milestones clearly.
• Lead recruitment team through a Recruitment Team Lead, with clear targets and pipeline management.
• Build partnerships with local authorities, Net Zero hubs, colleges and skills networks.
• Identify opportunities to extend programmes into new phases and places.
