Making a difference to young people's lives isn't something that happens by chance. It takes great leadership, strong partnerships and a team united by a shared purpose.

At The King's Trust, we're committed to helping young people develop the confidence and skills they need to move forward in life. Behind every programme, partnership and success story is a team of passionate people working together to create opportunities where they're needed most.

We're looking for a Head of Delivery to lead this work across your area, ensuring our services reach the young people who need them most and deliver meaningful, lasting impact.

This is a role for a strategic leader who enjoys bringing people together around a common purpose. You'll lead talented teams, shape how our services are delivered and build strong relationships with partners, funders and stakeholders who share our ambition to change young lives.

You'll provide leadership across a broad portfolio of programmes and services, ensuring we continue to deliver excellent outcomes while identifying new opportunities to extend our reach and impact.

Working closely with colleagues across the Trust, you'll help turn strategy into action by:

  • Leading and developing high-performing teams that are motivated, supported and focused on achieving great outcomes for young people.
  • Building strong relationships with partners, funders and stakeholders to strengthen our local presence and create new opportunities.
  • Using data, insight and feedback to continuously improve performance, quality and efficiency.
  • Ensuring safeguarding, inclusion and young people's wellbeing remain at the heart of everything we do.

You'll also play an important role in helping us deliver against funding commitments, maximise resources and ensure our programmes continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of young people and communities.

We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a genuine passion for supporting young people. You'll be an experienced leader who knows how to inspire teams, build credibility with stakeholders and create a culture where people can do their best work. You'll be comfortable balancing big-picture thinking with operational delivery and will enjoy finding practical solutions to complex challenges. Experience leading services, partnerships or programmes at scale will be important, as will the ability to use insight and performance data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement. Most importantly, you'll share our belief that every young person deserves the chance to succeed.

Why do we need Head of Deliverys?

Last year, we helped more than 40,000 Young People, with three in four young people on our programmes moving into a positive outcome in work, education or training. The young people we help face a range of challenges, such as unemployment, mental health issues or some who have been in trouble with the law. We believe all young people should have the chance to succeed, and that young people are the key to a positive and prosperous future for all of us.
