Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a Head of Data & Analytics on a 12-month fixed-term contract, based in Birmingham, with one day per week onsite. You will lead enterprise-wide data strategy, governance, architecture and analytics to enable evidence-based decision making across the organisation.

You will provide strategic leadership, drive data culture, and champion value from information assets, while managing risk and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Data, Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• Significant experience leading a Data & Analytics function within a complex organisation.
• Proven track record developing and delivering enterprise data strategies and governance frameworks.
• Experience influencing Executive and Senior Leadership teams.
• Extensive experience delivering BI and analytics capabilities.
• Experience managing budgets, business cases and investment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Set and lead the organisation's data strategy and roadmap.
• Design and implement enterprise Data Governance Framework and data quality controls.
• Oversee data architecture, modelling, integration, metadata and MDM.
• Lead enterprise reporting, dashboards and analytics capabilities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management in data practices.
• Engage with Executives and operational leaders to translate data insights into decisions.
