Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Head of Data & Analytics for a large Social Housing organisation on a 12 month fixed-term contract in Birmingham. The role leads enterprise-wide data strategy, governance, architecture and analytics to drive evidence-based decisions.

It includes one day per week onsite at the head office in Birmingham and requires strong stakeholder engagement at Executive level. The successful candidate will shape data culture, champion data as a strategic asset, and oversee data

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Data & Analytics function in a complex organisation.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver enterprise data strategies and governance.
• Strong influencing skills with Executive and Senior Leadership teams.
• Experience with BI, analytics, data quality and governance frameworks.
• Budget management and business case thinking for data initiatives.
• Knowledge of data architecture, modelling standards and master data management.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior leader for data and analytics, providing strategic direction.
• Develop, maintain and deliver the Data Strategy and roadmap.
• Align data initiatives with priorities, regulatory requirements and outcomes.
• Report progress, benefits, risks and opportunities to Exec and SLT.
• Design and improve enterprise Data Governance Framework with ownership and accountability.
• Lead data quality policies and data management controls.
• Own enterprise data architecture and roadmap; ensure standards.
• Oversee data warehousing, cloud data services and analytics solutions.
• Lead development of enterprise reporting, dashboards and analytics capabilities.
• Promote self-service analytics and AI where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance and timely data for regulatory returns and audits.
• Engage with Executive Directors and operational leaders; manage suppliers and partners.
• Build a high-performing Data & Analytics function and develop talent.
