Job summary

LexisNexis Intellectual Property Solutions is seeking a Senior Director, Platform Engineering – Data Platform & Agentic Platform to lead the engineering organization delivering and operating internal shared platform capabilities that enable trusted data services and production-grade AI workflows.

You will partner with Platform Product Management to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure platforms adopted across product domains while supporting innovation through high-quality engineering

Qualifications

• 12+ years leading platform engineering teams
• Platforms adopted by multiple product teams
• Distributed systems and platform engineering expertise
• Data platform engineering at scale (ingestion, integration, metadata)
• Experience enabling AI-powered systems in production
• Partner with product leaders on contract-driven platforms
• Hire and develop AI platform engineers

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery for shared platform services and data capabilities
• Translate product-defined platform requirements into scalable designs and delivery plans
• Provide capacity forecasts, sequencing options, and delivery risk assessments
• Build and operate ingestion, integration, and modernization capabilities
• Implement canonical data contracts and APIs with versioning and backward compatibility
• Implement and operate agent workflow platform capabilities aligned to product standards
• Ensure production-grade evaluation, observability, auditability, and guardrails for safe AI workflows
• Experience building internal AI workflow platforms or shared AI platform services
