Job summary

Abbeygate Search Ltd is seeking a Head of Data, Insight & Automation to shape the data strategy, strengthen platforms and deliver reporting, automation and analytics that improve commercial decisions. You will work with senior leaders, be hands-on with data engineering, and help build capability from the ground up.

You will lead data governance, cloud architecture (Azure) and CRM enhancements, while guiding a growing team and collaborating across functions.

Qualifications

Experience leading data/analytics or data engineering functions.
Proven track record delivering data strategy and modern data platforms.
Strong experience with BI reporting and data visualisation (Power BI).
Knowledge of cloud-based data architecture (Azure).

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver a practical data and analytics strategy aligned to business growth.
Improve data quality, structure, and accessibility across systems.
Build and secure scalable data environment with pipelines, storage and modelling.
Create dashboards/MI for senior leaders highlighting trends and opportunities.
Lead automation initiatives using low-code tools and integrate CRM data.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
Support responsible adoption of AI and emerging tech with measurable business value.
Recruit, develop and mentor the data and analytics team.
