Job summary

THG is seeking a Head of Data Engineering and Governance to own data quality, availability and structure across our Beauty and Nutrition divisions. You will lead Engineering, Governance and Reporting, and work with Ingenuity to align platform capabilities with PLC needs.

You will shape the data roadmap, establish standards, and drive a single source of truth while enabling analytics, data science and business leadership to trust and act on data insights.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering or data leadership roles, including senior level.
• Strong hands-on expertise with GCP/BigQuery and data platforms.
• Experience across multiple data domains and data architecture evolution.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for data engineering, governance and reporting across THG PLC.
• Own data domain structures, data quality, metadata and lineage.
• Lead three functions: Engineering, Governance and Reporting; collaborate with Ingenuity.
• Drive single source of truth and reduce data silos across the organisation.
• Champion AI and automation in data pipelines and analytics.
