Job summary

East Midlands Education Trust is seeking a senior data and insights leader to drive a unified view of performance across education, finance, workforce and operations. You will turn complex data into actionable intelligence for the CEO, Executive Team and Board, oversee the AI strategy, and set governance standards to enable safe, effective use of data across Nottinghamshire and beyond.

Based at EMET Central Office with regular travel to Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire to work with

Qualifications

Significant experience leading data, analytics, business intelligence or digital transformation in a complex organisation.

Responsibilities

Lead EMET’s data and insight strategy across education, finance, workforce and operations.
Provide school leaders, the Executive Team and the Board clear, timely intelligence.
Support curriculum and financial planning with benchmarked monthly forecasting.
Develop and lead the Trust’s AI strategy, identifying where AI can reduce workload and improve teaching, learning and operations.
Set governance, ethics and data protection standards for AI and data use, in line with DfE guidance and UK GDPR.
Work across Education, Finance, HR, Estates and IT to bring our systems and data together as our central services grow.
Build the data and AI confidence of leaders and staff across our schools.
