Job summary

Fintelligent Search is seeking a Head of Credit to lead lending operations and set credit strategy across the full lending lifecycle. This senior role demands ownership of credit standards, portfolio performance and the operational capability supporting the lending process.

You will shape policy, improve processes and build a scalable credit function while influencing underwriting, loan management and portfolio risk. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Significant senior credit experience in bridging, development finance, or related lending.
• Experience leading credit decision-making and underwriting standards.
• Operational experience across the lending lifecycle including loan management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment, structuring and approval of lending within policy and risk appetite.
• Oversee the live loan portfolio, monitoring, exits, arrears and stressed cases.
• Own the lending journey from application through servicing and redemption.
• Lead and develop Credit and Loan Management teams with better controls and reporting.
