Blockchain is seeking a Head of Consumer Operations to own the financial operations backbone for its consumer crypto business in London. You will oversee deposits, withdrawals, settlements and reconciliation across fiat and digital assets, building an elite team and partnering with Compliance, Treasury, Product and Engineering to deliver fast, reliable services for millions of users.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial operations or treasury, including 4+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience managing fiat and cryptocurrency money movement at meaningful volume.
• Proven ability to build and lead large operations teams.
• Strong AML, KYC, and fraud-prevention knowledge; partner with Compliance.
• Experience with liquidity management and banking relationships.
• Proven track record delivering product launches or market expansions.
• Vendor management with payment processors or banks.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication.
• Crypto/digital-asset industry experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end consumer financial operations for fiat and crypto at scale.
• Define SLAs for operational metrics and incident response.
• Build and maintain SOPs and a control framework for money movement.
• Scale the operations team, including outsourcing and workforce planning.
• Manage incident communications during outages.
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Engineering on launches.
• Drive automation to reduce manual reconciliation and improve efficiency.
• Monitor vendor performance and banking relationships.
