Job summary

Mphasis UK Ltd is seeking a senior compliance executive to lead the Compliance Oversight and Money Laundering Reporting Officer function (SMF16/SMF17). The role involves independent oversight of FCA-regulated activities, development of a robust compliance framework, and leadership across cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory obligations are met and customer outcomes are prioritized.

Qualifications

• Significant FCA-regulated financial services experience.
• Strong knowledge of FCA Handbook including CONC, SYSC, DISP, Consumer Duty and SM&CR.
• Experience building and monitoring compliance frameworks.
• Experience of regulatory risk assessments and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent oversight of regulatory compliance and financial crime.
• Lead SMF16/SMF17 functions and ensure AML/CTF compliance.
• Develop and maintain risk-based compliance monitoring and reporting to the Board.
• Embed Consumer Duty and focus on customer outcomes in day-to-day operations.
• Advise senior management and Board on regulatory developments.
