Job summary

Mphasis UK Ltd is seeking a Head of Compliance, Compliance Oversight and Money Laundering Reporting Officer to provide independent oversight of the firm's regulatory compliance framework and to lead AML/CTF arrangements. This role carries SMF16 and SMF17 responsibilities, reporting to the Managing Director and accountable to the Board, with strong interaction across internal teams and external regulators.

Qualifications

• Significant FCA-regulated financial services experience.
• Strong knowledge of FCA Handbook and Consumer Duty.
• Experience building and monitoring compliance frameworks.
• Experience with AML/CTF, sanctions and KYC.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent oversight of regulatory compliance and financial crime controls.
• Act as SMF16/SMF17 subject to FCA approval; support MLRO duties.
• Develop and maintain a risk-based monitoring programme.
• Advise senior management and the Board on regulatory developments.
• Ensure Consumer Duty outcomes are embedded across the business.
• Lead training and promote a culture of compliance.
