Job summary

Mphasis UK Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks a Head of Compliance, Compliance Oversight & MLRO to provide independent oversight of regulatory compliance and AML/CTF arrangements. The role demands acting as SMF16/SMF17, reporting to the Board, and leading the firm's compliance function across FCA rules and consumer protection obligations.

Qualifications

• Significant FCA-regulated financial services experience.
• Strong knowledge of FCA Handbook (CONC, SYSC, DISP, Consumer Duty, SM&CR).
• Experience developing and monitoring compliance frameworks.
• Experience of compliance monitoring and regulatory risk assessments.
• Good understanding of AML, sanctions and customer due diligence.
• Experience presenting compliance matters to senior management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm's Compliance and Financial Crime function with independent oversight.
• Act as SMF16 and SMF17 subject to FCA approval and maintain AML/CTF frameworks.
• Develop and maintain a risk-based Compliance Monitoring Programme.
• Provide regulatory advice and challenge to senior management and Board.
• Oversee Consumer Duty framework and customer outcomes.
• Monitor changes in FCA rules and implement them across the business.
• Report material compliance risks to Board and regulators.
• Promote culture of compliance, integrity and ethics.
