Job Description:

Our client, a global leader in their field, is seeking a Head of Compliance (Advisory) to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer and involves building and leading compliance teams in the UK and internationally. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring business activities comply with policies, laws, and regulations
  • Providing strategic oversight and stakeholder engagement to anticipate compliance risks
  • Leading compliance programs such as policy development, due diligence, and sanctions
  • Managing global transformation projects to enhance compliance
  • Designing controls and mitigation strategies
  • Assisting in designing compliant new initiatives
  • Implementing compliance policies and training internationally
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders with professionalism and integrity

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Extensive compliance experience, especially in sanctions and third-party due diligence
  • Leadership experience in a global context
  • Proven ability to develop compliance programs
  • Exceptional project management skills, capable of leading large initiatives
  • A balanced operational and strategic mindset
