Job Description:

Our client, a global leader in their field, is looking for a Head of Compliance (Advisory) to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer, who is hugely inspirational. They are seeking someone to work in partnership with them – helping to build best-in-class compliance teams both in the UK and internationally.

The role involves leading the business-facing and strategic parts of the Compliance function, including:

• Working closely with the business to ensure activities comply with policies, laws, and regulations
• Providing strategic oversight, interpreting regulations, and engaging stakeholders to anticipate risks and influence decision-making
• Leading key compliance programs such as policy development, third-party due diligence, and sanctions programs
• Project managing global and strategic transformational projects to enhance compliance with laws and regulations
• Designing controls and mitigation strategies
• Assisting the business in designing compliant initiatives
• Implementing compliance policies and training programs internationally
• Engaging with senior stakeholders demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and integrity

To be considered, candidates should:

• Have extensive experience in compliance roles, especially in sanctions and third-party due diligence
• Have held a global leadership position
• Be experienced in developing compliance programs
• Possess excellent project management skills and experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives
• Be comfortable operating both operationally and strategically, with the ability to influence and deliver results
