Job Description:

Our client, a global leader in their field, is looking for a Head of Compliance (Advisory) to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer, who is hugely inspirational. They are looking for someone to work in partnership with them to build a best-in-class compliance team both in the UK and internationally.

The role involves leading the business-facing and strategic parts of the Compliance function, including:

• Working closely with the business to ensure activities are compliant with policies, laws, and regulations.
• Providing strategic oversight, interpreting regulations, and engaging stakeholders to anticipate risks and influence decisions.
• Leading and developing compliance programs such as policy development, third-party due diligence, and sanctions programs.
• Managing global and strategic projects to enhance compliance with laws and regulations.
• Designing controls and mitigation strategies.
• Assisting the business in designing compliant initiatives.
• Implementing compliance policies and training programs internationally.
• Engaging with senior stakeholders with professionalism and integrity.

To be considered, candidates should:

• Have extensive experience in compliance roles, especially with sanctions and third-party due diligence.
• Have held a global leadership position.
• Be experienced in developing compliance programs.
• Possess excellent project management skills and experience leading large transformation projects.
