Job Description:

Our client, a global leader in their field, is looking for a Head of Compliance (Advisory) to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer, who is hugely inspirational. They are seeking someone to work in partnership with them to build top-tier compliance teams in the UK and internationally.

The role involves leading the business-facing and strategic aspects of the Compliance function, including:

• Collaborating with the business to ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations
• Providing strategic oversight, interpreting regulations, and engaging stakeholders to anticipate risks and inform decisions
• Leading and developing compliance programs such as policy development, third-party due diligence, and sanctions programs
• Managing global and strategic projects to enhance compliance with laws and regulations
• Designing controls and mitigation strategies
• Assisting in the design of new initiatives in a compliant manner
• Implementing compliance policies and training programs internationally
• Engaging with senior stakeholders with professionalism, discretion, and integrity

To be considered, candidates should:

• Have extensive experience in compliance, particularly in sanctions and third-party due diligence
• Hold a global leadership role experience
• Be skilled in developing compliance programs
• Possess excellent project management skills and experience leading large transformation projects
• Be capable of balancing operational and strategic responsibilities to achieve results
