Job summary

Bridewell seeks a passionate technology-focused Head of Cloud Engineering to lead and grow our Cloud Security practice, defining vision, capability and delivery standards for clients.

You will build a high-performing team, shape career paths, mentor staff, and drive AI-enabled cloud security adoption across engagements and pre-sales. This hybrid role requires strategic partnership management with Microsoft and other vendors, and a track record of growing cloud security offerings.

Qualifications

• Experience in a client-facing Cloud Security Consulting or Professional Services leadership role.
• Proven experience leading technical consulting teams.
• Strong experience defining cloud security strategies for enterprise organisations.
• Experience managing strategic technology partnerships, particularly Microsoft.
• Demonstrable success growing technical capabilities, services, and teams.
• Experience engaging with executive stakeholders and board-level audiences.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience supporting business growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Cloud Security strategy, aligned with growth plans.
• Shape the Cloud practice direction, identifying emerging technologies and new service opportunities.
• Lead the strategic adoption of AI and cloud security technologies to improve outcomes.
• Build a roadmap to keep the organisation at the forefront of cloud security innovation.
• Develop a high-performing team of Cloud Security Consultants and Specialists.
• Guide career pathways, mentoring programmes, and certification plans.
• Drive delivery quality across cloud security engagements.
• Advise clients as a senior technical and strategic advisor.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to define cloud security strategies.
• Lead complex cloud transformation and AI adoption programmes.
• Support pre-sales activities, workshops, and executive presentations.
• Drive capability development across Azure, Defender, Entra, Copilot for Security, Purview; AWS; GCP; Wiz; AI platforms.
• Build executive-level partnerships with technology vendors, notably Microsoft.
• Represent Bridewell at partner events and industry forums.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Technical Services, GRC, and Marketing.
