Job summary

Avonfield Neurological Centre, part of Elysium Healthcare, is seeking a Head of Clinical Services to provide clinical management and leadership to the unit team, modelling professional standards and driving continuous quality improvement.

The role requires NMC registration, at least two years in a supervisory capacity, and knowledge of CQC standards. You will lead governance, service development and patient safety across the centre, with a competitive salary and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the NMC
• At least 2 years experience in a supervisory capacity within a relevant care setting
• Knowledge of the legislation and standards of the CQC
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a drive for change and innovation

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction and professional leadership to nursing, allied health professionals and medical staff
• Lead governance to ensure safe, effective patient care and identify clinical risk
• Support Business Development/annual contracting and safe delivery of care
• Contribute to service risk mitigation and monitoring
• Deliver the facility clinical strategy and annual plan
• Monitor clinical performance indicators and address outliers
• Analyse outcome data to drive improvement through action planning
