Job summary

Sompo Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Head of Claims Service Delivery in London to lead the end-to-end delivery of claims operations. You will drive service performance, governance, and continuous improvement across the claims lifecycle, partnering with underwriting, finance, IT, and risk teams.

The role emphasizes leadership of people, process optimization, and the strategic use of data and automation to enhance outcomes for clients and the business.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of London Market/Lloyd’s claims systems and practices.
• Proven leadership of teams.
• Experience in end-to-end claims operations management.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational delivery of claims processing services with clear standards.
• Define and monitor service KPIs, SLAs, and scorecards; manage performance cadence.
• Lead end-to-end process improvement including mapping, simplification and standardisation.
• Ensure robust controls around payments, data handling, and audits with compliance partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Underwriting, Finance, IT, Risk) to align priorities.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and staff development.
