Job summary

Siemens Energy’s Grid Technologies division seeks a Head of Civil Engineering to lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering civil solutions across Great Britain and Ireland. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Project Managers to align activities with strategic objectives and ensure safe, compliant project delivery.

You will drive technical standards, mentor engineers and oversee subcontractor management while expanding the scope of onshore civil disciplines on EPC HVDC and grid

Qualifications

• A degree or HND in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent with managerial experience.
• Chartered status with a relevant professional body is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to UK/IRL sites and partners to support delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary civil engineering team across projects in GB&I.
• Oversee full life cycle of civil delivery including FEED, tendering, procurement and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with regional regulations, health and safety, and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain civil engineering standards and procedures and manage subcontractors.
