Job summary

UCL is seeking an experienced Head of Category - Estates Development to provide senior commercial and procurement leadership across the Estates Development portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain and leading a small team, you will develop procurement strategies, run large tenders and drive value for money.

You will collaborate with faculties and senior stakeholders, strengthen supplier relations, lead change, and contribute to the Commercial Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering complex, large-scale procurement solutions.
• Proven track record in category management and contract management.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to translate priorities into commercial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for the Estates Development portfolio.
• Lead large tenders and complex negotiations to secure value for money.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive non-pay savings.
