An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious full-time Head of Careers to lead the Careers Team at Benenden School, one of the country’s leading independent schools. This role is open to teaching and non-teaching professionals.
The Head of Careers will oversee all aspects of UCAS, Oxbridge, International university applications and the broader whole school careers curriculum. You will lead and coordinate the UCAS process and oversee the planning and delivery of a careers and guidance programme for students of all ages which ensures they are aspirational, open-minded and enthusiastic about the opportunities ahead of them.
This is an important role that underpins many aspects of School life. You will be a member of the Heads of Department body and will meet regularly with the Housemaster and Mistress team, the Oxbridge co-ordinators and fellow Heads of Department.
The School has a Sixth form of around 186 students, all of whom make applications to university or higher education. Around a quarter of the year group will make applications to Oxbridge, World Top 10, or Medical schools.
