Job summary

Liverpool John Moores University invites applications for the Head of Campus Support (Facilities) role. You will lead strategic and operational delivery of high-quality Facilities services across LJMU’s campuses, including helpdesk, receptions, cleaning, porterage, mail, transport, and maintenance coordination.

We seek an exceptional candidate with a strong track record of transforming service delivery, change management, and innovative productivity improvements within a multi-site university

• Extensive experience in delivering operational services in a multi-site setting.
• Strong track record of reviewing processes and implementing improvements to drive productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of helpdesk services across multiple sites.
• Supervise building receptions and facilities team support.
• Oversee cleaning, porterage, mail room services and waste management.
• Coordinate transport and fleet operations; manage maintenance and project coordination.
• Provide out-of-hours support and ensure service alignment with LJMU objectives.

Estate Development and Campus Services is seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the role of Head of Campus Support (Facilities). You will be expected to lead on the strategic and operational delivery of high quality Facilities services including:

• Delivery of helpdesk services
• Building Receptions and facilities team support
• Cleaning
• Porterage
• Mail room services
• Transport and fleet operations
• Coordination of maintenance and project coordination
• Out of hours support services
• Waste management

You must demonstrate a significant track record of operational service delivery in a similar multi-site setting, change management and service alignment to meet the overall objectives of the University and a strong record of reviewing process and recommending / implementing innovative solutions that drive productivity in service delivery.
