Rise Resourcing is seeking a senior commercial strategist to lead the technology and consumer electronics category, shaping end-to-end range development and driving growth across both stores and online. You will partner with overseas manufacturers, manage P&L, and ensure compliance while spotting trends and launching new products. Travel across the UK and internationally is required, with strong focus on profitability and stock health.

Formación

• Senior buying/leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Passion for tech and proven tech buying experience.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas.
• Strong grip on profits, margins and optimal stock allocation.
• Track record of introducing new products smoothly.

The Opportunity

An established retailer is seeking an ambitious commercial strategist to develop their technology and consumer electricals category.

This high-impact leadership position oversees the end-to-end development of a commercial range of tech accessories.

What You'll Do

• Strategic Direction: Build a long-term plan to sell technology across both stores and online.
• Supplier & Product Management: Work directly with overseas manufacturers, set exact product specs, and guide new products through every stage from design to launch.
• P&L Management: taking full responsibility for sales targets, profit margins, stock levels, and product rollouts.
• Tech Adoption: Spot hot new tech trends and get them onto shelves quickly.
• Compliance & Safety: Lead cross-functional teams to make sure products meet safety laws and guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a Senior Buying role / leadership role within a fast paced retail environment
• Passionate about Tech! previous experience buying tech is essential
• willingness to travel within the UK and overseas
• Financial Savvy - strong grip on profits and margins, getting maximum value out of store shelf space, and keeping stock levels healthy.
• A proven track record of smoothly introducing new products and stock management
