Job summary

Location One, a leader in location and production support, is seeking a Head of Business Development to drive growth from Longcross with regular UK travel. You will win new productions, build relationships with studios, streamers and production companies, and craft a strong pipeline of opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, commercial management or sales leadership, ideally in TV and film production.
• Proven track record of winning new business, growing revenue and building long-term relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Strong commercial sense including pricing, forecasting, pipeline management and CRM use.
• Genuine interest in sustainability and helping productions reduce environmental impact.
• Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel regularly across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of new productions and clients, balancing annual targets with long-term growth strategy.
• Develop relationships with location managers, unit managers, production executives and heads of production at studios and broadcasters.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, preferred-supplier agreements and framework contracts, maintaining focus on margin and delivery capability.
• Turn our low-carbon solutions into winning proposals, keeping ahead of industry sustainability requirements.
• Work with branch, logistics, sustainability and finance teams to ensure seamless delivery, and own the sales budget with clear reporting.

Location: Longcross, Surrey, KT16 0EF with regular travel to our branches, productions on location and to industry events across the UK

Salary: Competitive + Bonus

Location One was founded in 2008 to serve location and production teams with comprehensive support and equipment hire. Now the leader in its field with over 80 people across multiple branches nationwide, we've been part of the ADF Group since 2022. Head of Business Development - The Role:

You'll lead growth for Location One by winning new productions and building relationships with studios, streamers and production companies. Working from Longcross with regular travel across the UK, you'll get Location One into conversations early — during pre-production — and build a strong pipeline of opportunities. You'll balance this year's targets with three-year growth plans, lead high-value negotiations, and work closely with branch teams to ensure we deliver on every promise.

Head of Business Development - Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a pipeline of new productions and clients, balancing annual targets with long-term growth strategy
