Job summary

Avocet is seeking a Head of Surveying (Building) to lead a newly formed team dedicated to surveying and building repairs. This strategic role offers ownership of the process with potential equity and a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

You will sign up clients, perform accurate surveys, create schedules of work, price projects, manage procurement, and oversee contractors while collaborating with the Head of Claims and the Operations Director to ensure successful

Qualifications

• Experience in surveying and building repairs.
• Strong people skills and client-facing experience.
• Experience managing contractors and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate and timely surveys.
• Create schedules of work and pricing estimates.
• Oversee procurement and contractor management.
• Ensure work is completed to insurer and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Head of Claims and Operations Director.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and project delivery.
