OlympiaUK is seeking a Head of Brand to lead the marketing strategy for London's newest cultural destination. The role involves driving brand perception, managing public relations, and establishing partnerships to create a vibrant environment for visitors. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in senior marketing roles, excelling in communication and strategic thinking, to amplify Olympia's vision for global culture and entertainment.
Olympia is one of the world's most ambitious regeneration projects. Built as an events and exhibitions venue almost 140 years ago, today it is undergoing a £1.3bn transformation into London's newest cultural destination. Once complete, Olympia will be a showcase for global culture, live entertainment, innovation and creativity.
Designed by Heatherwick Studio and SPPARC for Yoo Capital and DFI, this new vision for one of London's most architecturally striking sites will offer visitors from all over the world the chance to come together to be entertained, learn, innovate and do business.

Role overview:
This role presents a unique opportunity to launch and establish Olympia as an exciting, globally iconic destination. You'll lead on the planning and execution of Olympia's brand, marketing and public realm event planning and encourage visits. The activity will drive awareness of Olympia's transformation, establish and set brand perception, shape and manage the reputation and public image of the Olympia Estate, creating a must visit destination for Londers and visitors.
You'll work with tentant partners, and develop third party brand partnership activities that deliver against Olympia's brand mission to be an iconic cultural destination. Working with emerging and established talent, finding the new and the next in culture and experiences, you'll deliver propositions and partnerships to achieve our commercial and marketing objectives.
Key responsibilities:
• Brand building and amplification
• Lead the execution of the new brand narrative and supporting content -ensuring consistent delivery across all touch points and activity.
• Leads the planning, activation and coordination of marketing efforts across
all channels to support the key launch moments of the year.
• Leads the team in the planning, activation and co-ordination of the BAU marketing and events calendar to deliver against commercial and marketing objectives once estate is fully open.
• Identifies and collaborates with
talent, brands, rights holders, cultural institutions and bodies, to develop and deliver an enlivenment program that attracts footfall to the public realm.
• Ensures programming reflects the brand's aspirations, and promotes regular visitation.
• Leads on all placemaking elements, working with the Hospitality & Ops team to ensure a consistent brand experience is delivered across all touch points and brand interactions (physical and digital).
• Owns the relationship with Tenant partners. Works with Tenant partners to amplify their propositions, and ensure the wider Olympia offering is brought to life in their touch points
• Manages marketing service charge commitments and monitoring.
• Identifies and engages 3rd party brand partnerships to support the brand positioning (eg exhibitions, institutions, artists, talent etc).
• Co-ordinates and supports the Community relations team with providing a platform for local talent, and the amplification of Olympia's social value activities.
Key skills & Experience required:
• Significant experience in senior marketing leadership roles.
• Drafting and delivering marketing and communications strategies, including setting budgets, objectives and KPls.
• Leading the planning and delivery of successful £multi-million integrated marketing campaigns.
• Significant experience in events programming, partnership marketing and sponsorship.
• Proven experience in managing complex internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability
to craft clear and compelling press releases, articles and other messaging.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute communication plans that align with business objectives.
• Ability to work under pressure and navigate fast-paced environments, including handling crisis communication situations.
• A high level of integrity and an ability to be discrete and tactful with due respect for confidentiality.
• Experience of leading media and creative agency relationships.
• Ability to analyse situations quickly
and respond to those seeking advice/guidance.
• Ability to present information to a wide range of audiences.
• A self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Professional qualification within the marketing space.
• Highly proficient in MS Office software.
