Remarkable Jobs Limited is seeking an experienced Head of Bids & Tenders to lead the full bid lifecycle across public and private sectors. You will manage a small team, shape winning bid strategies and drive commercial success for an established UK organisation in the infrastructure services sector.

The role requires a proven track record in tender management, excellent bid writing and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Proven senior-level Bid Management or Tender Management experience.
• Strong experience tendering across BOTH public and private sectors – essential.
• Demonstrable success in managing and winning competitive tenders.
• Previous people management or team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of public procurement, framework agreements and commercial tendering.
• Excellent bid writing, commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full bid and tender lifecycle, from opportunity identification through to contract award.
• Manage public and private sector tenders, including PQQs, SQs, ITTs, RFPs and RFQs.
• Develop competitive bid strategies, commercial proposals and tender submissions.
• Oversee public procurement, framework agreements and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with senior management, operational and commercial teams.
• Monitor bid performance, improve processes and maximise tender win rates.

Remarkable Jobs is recruiting an experienced

Head of Bids & Tenders for an established and growing UK organisation operating within the infrastructure services sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for a

Head of Bids, Senior Bid Manager, Tender Manager or Bid Lead with a proven track record of successfully managing and winning tenders across

both public and private sectors.

You will lead the entire bid and tendering function, manage a direct report and develop winning bid strategies to support continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the full bid and tender lifecycle, from opportunity identification through to contract award.

Manage public and private sector tenders, including PQQs, SQs, ITTs, RFPs and RFQs.

Develop competitive bid strategies, commercial proposals and tender submissions.

Oversee public procurement, framework agreements and compliance requirements.
