Job summary

EFI Group is recruiting a Head of Inclusion to lead belonging and inclusive practice across FE, HE and Apprenticeships. You will steer SEND/EHCP provision, drive accessible curriculum delivery, and oversee safeguarding and data reporting.

The role requires NASENCO-level qualification, senior SENCO experience and a track record in vulnerable learner support. You will manage the Inclusion team, coordinate CPD, and partner with curriculum and Student Services to ensure outcomes and regulatory

Qualifications

• Must hold NASENCO/NPQSENCO Level 7 or equivalent senior SENCO qualification.
• GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
• Experience leading SEND and EHCP provision in post-16 education and managing specialist staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Inclusion team and CPD in inclusive practice.
• Oversee SEND and EHCP provision, ensuring accessible curriculum practice and reasonable adjustments.
• Monitor vulnerable learner data, reporting, and regulatory readiness (Ofsted/OfS/SEND).
• Collaborate with curriculum and Student Services to embed belonging, participation and retention.
