We are pleased to be recruiting for a Head of Audience Research in the Strategy Audiences team of the BBC Audiences department. This role is a permanent, full-time role based in London.
Within the BBC, the Audiences department is central to providing high quality insight, performance data and inspiration to help decision making at all levels.
The successful applicant will play a key role in leading audience research shaping the future of the BBC.
This specific role offers an excellent opportunity for anyone who enjoys finding solutions to complex audience research questions, and has a strong background in qualitative and quantitative research methods. Deep expertise in working with and analysing audience measurement data from industry sources is also highly desirable.
Strategy Audiences is responsible for the audience research that helps to shape the BBC’s overall strategy.
We design and undertake audience research projects to help answer key strategic questions and challenges that the BBC is facing. This involves designing bespoke qualitative and quantitative research, and deep interrogation and analysis of audience measurement data (e.g. from BARB, RAJAR, Ipsos iris, Compass).
