Job summary

Dacorum Borough Council is seeking an outstanding Head of Asset Management to lead a portfolio of over 10,000 homes. You will oversee Responsive Repairs, Empty Homes, Capital Investment, Strategic Asset Management and decarbonisation efforts across the social housing stock.

With substantial leadership experience and a focus on resident outcomes, you will shape services that improve safety, quality and value for money, while guiding a team and working with partners to deliver transformation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver housing and asset management outcomes.
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Strategic vision with commercial awareness in public housing or asset management.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-performing teams responsible for Responsive Repairs, Empty Homes, Capital Investment and decarbonisation of social housing stock.
• Drive performance and delivery of ambitious asset management programmes.
• Build trusted relationships with colleagues, contractors, elected Members and external partners.
