LOCATION(S): Manchester or Newport

HOURS: Full-time

The Asset Management and Remarketing team manages manufacturer relationships, used leasing, and optimizes vehicle asset value. You will create and implement strategies to fully integrate vehicle asset management from purchase to disposal, a key success factor in the UK's transition to electric vehicles, with high visibility at senior levels.

Ideal candidates should have extensive knowledge of the motor industry, vehicle finance/leasing, and a proven track record in remarketing, supplier management, product development, and contract management. Key Accountabilities

1. Create and implement the full vehicle asset management strategy, managing OEM and third-party relationships, and working with residual value teams to ensure circularity in the RV & asset management ecosystem.
2. Manage vehicle remarketing, including negotiations with suppliers to achieve optimal terms and meet finance targets.
3. Manage suppliers across procurement, service, and remarketing to ensure contractual obligations are met.
4. Expand the used leasing proposition through broker, corporate channels, and D2C options.

1. Manage the returning vehicle portfolio to maximize profitability and ensure timely disposal or alternative routes.
2. Manage suppliers to meet KPIs across purchases, service, logistics, refurbishment, and customer service.
3. Oversee a portfolio of key suppliers via a team of Account Managers to ensure quality service delivery.
4. Scale the used leasing proposition by expanding channels and introducing new D2C options.
5. Provide regular, accurate reports on all aspects of remarketing.
6. Present key insights to senior stakeholders and assess potential impacts on the business.
7. Implement business plans to achieve results promptly.
8. Lead, motivate, and develop a high-engagement team with a strong people plan.
9. Build stakeholder relationships, influence effectively, and use judgment to drive actions.
